Wow, this game is of very high quality!

I like the genre connection: a stealth, a survival, some action and a bit of horror! There is even ability to cover the footprints. Do soldiers really find me by them?

It would be a nice (sellable) project if you make the player hide his home and change its location and if you make a bigger world. Now it's a bit too difficult game - there are 3 soldiers on 2 square meters!

The soldiers do track you down via the footprints, though it is a bit of a slow process at the moment :)

Making it more of a long form survival game would be interesting for sure.

Neat neat neat!

I wish there was a goal/end of game to keep the player motivated.

Also I felt like the NPCs sort of just popped on screen too quickly for me to react often. I got better though so I guess I was just bad before haha. Or maybe I got lucky afterwards.
Anyway, good work, congrats!

Yep, definitely need some sort of end goal (That isn't "survive for x number of time/days). Gotta think about that one :)

The NPCs have directional audio, but yeah I should probably add some kind of visual warning as well, or just reduce their vision range.

I would reduce their vision range *just a bit*, so that you still have to react/adapt quickly, but not that it feels like you didn't even see them and they're already after you haha.

I really like your art style here! And I think you have a lot of cool, polished mechanics for a longer form survival game! I kept dying very early on because the enemies would just sit outside my camp. I wish there was an easier way to avoid them! :)

Yeah, I'd definitely need to expand on it some more so that the player can do things like use their footprints to lead the enemies away from the bunker, lead them into traps and so on :)

pretty cool! I was actually hooked and invested in the world for a few minutes, but is there a victory state, or does it just keep track of how long you go?
Oh, and I couldn't get the footprints mechanic to be significant in my playthroughs. But goodjob!

At the moment it's just an endless thing, no particular goal other than stay alive as long as possible.

The footprints thing I definitely ran out of time as far as tweaking and balancing it goes. I wanted the enemies to follow them in the direction the footprints were pointing, and then the player could walk backwards to lead them away from the bunker (For example).
