Had a really good time with this one. It felt very complete in terms of gameplay variety, the aesthetic, and even the storyline :)

Keep up the good work man!

Congratulations, Dev. Wonderful little game you got here. Really liked the controls and the gameplay overall. Graphics are sweet, sound design is spot on, well done mate. Thank you.

very intresting main mecanick

Very good game

I love the graphic style. The game fits the theme perfectly. The sound atmosphere is discreet but works well. I find that some jumps are complicated to perform, fortunately you have put many checkpoints! Always a pleasure to test your creations, if you are looking for a new challenge, the GMTK game jam starts in a few weeks :)

Yep, I'm hoping to do that one! Haven't done a 48 hour jam yet, so that should be interesting.

Nice job! I like the mechanic of swinging around points.  I felt like I spent a lot of time waiting for timings to line up in the section at the end where you climb between lasers. The whole thing looks really nice.

(+1)

Yeah, I feel like there was too much time spent waiting, overall. Thanks for the feedback :)

Was able to complete it after a while! With some polish and more levels this could be a really fun platformer. You made good of use of introducing new mechanics and exploring them so I'd be curious as to what else you could make!

Very fun, Great job! :D

I loved your game and I think you could expand this into something amazing with some polish and extended playtime. I didn't even enter this jam or anything I just played your game and liked it a lot :)

I would recommend a square player hitbox because when landing on/near edges, I sometimes slip off while preparing my next jump.

Another thing that would be nice: Being able to change which direction the player is rotating around the nut/bolt, while they are rotating. Another player in the comments mentioned changing the momentum, but I like the "snappiness" of the platforming.

(+1)

Yeah, I probably should have used a box collider. As is, it's a box collider with a circle collider on the bottom.

Changing the direction of the rotation would be a definite change if I updated this, would make things a lot less unfair in some sections.

Thanks for playing :)

The game is really cool art style and mechanics are awesome i liked it :D

i hope you enjoy my gameplay https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrODqBXmFf4&feature=youtu.be

Hey, thanks for recording gameplay!

Very nice! I was caught off guard by how much I got sucked into this game!

Thanks for playing!

I really like the setting and it reminds me of SMB. I personally hoped for more robot fixing (since I like robots). Very impressive for a weekly Jam!

Some thing that would make the controls better: If the player presses jump just before he landed from the previous jump, it should still trigger a jump.

Right now it feels like the jump animation has to end before I can trigger the next jump.

Like described here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFsJIrm2btU

Thanks for the tip -- I was actually just watching this guy's videos, they seem pretty helpful. I'll keep that in mind if I make another platformer :)

Really, really good! My only complaint is that I wish there was more! I love the GFX, the gameplay is great, just awesome overall!

As you mentioned, there are areas it could be polished more, but hey, it's a weekly gamejam... this is top notch work given the time constraints!

Thanks Shibey :) Definitely had to cut things short at the end, didn't have the time/motivation to do more obstacles. Placing all those tiles by hand is pretty time consuming, definitely need to look into partially automating that process.

Very fun indeed :)

Thanks :)

Awesome game, with an impressive amount of stuff. I really like the bolts, although the timing on them feels weird sometimes.
They could be an interesting mechanic if you could control the rotation speed and gain momentum when jumping off one.

(+1)

Yeah, I agree that it would work better as a physics based mechanic, or at least take the player's momentum into account. Thanks for playing!

(+1)

Awesome game. Good graphics. The graphics are choppy when the player is rotating. You got room for more updates and improvement. I am in the same boat as you. I am going to submit my weekly game.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll check out your game for this week when it's out!

relay great man cant believe you made this in 6 days would make the power-up and jump SFX quieter though

Thanks! Now that you mention it, the SFX are a bit too loud.
